Devin Davis, 2, is found floating in a pond after being spotted with the Use of a Drone Aircraft

The body of a two-year-old boy who went missing on Tuesday has been found floating in a pond in Texas thanks to a drone aircraft.

Devin Davis was reported missing in the south-east of the state after his mother awoke from a nap and he was gone.

The search ended yesterday morning when his red shift was spotted by the unmanned aircraft about 300 yards from his home, leading them to his body.

Liberty County Sheriff’s spokesman Rex Evans told local media the death 'appears accidental'.

Authorities had feared the child wandered away from his new home in Cleveland, about 45 miles northeast of Houston, and into some nearby woods after disappearing around 3pm on Tuesday.
